This summer SchoolCal is offering Back to School Office Hours throughout the months of July and August.

What are Office Hours?

The purpose of our Back to School Office Hours are to provide an informal setting to be reminded of what you need to do to get SchoolCal ready as well as ask questions you may have. Each session will run for an hour and be made up of two parts:

Part One: Reviewing how to launch SchoolCal for the upcoming school year (new field options, new template field options, rotation days, syncing for teachers separate from students, etc.).

Part Two: Open Q&A for you to ask specific questions regarding your scenario/setup. Often other attendees may have the same question as you and it's helpful to hear from each other!

What do I need to do to get SchoolCal ready for the 25-26 school year?

As a reminder, the following are the general steps to take to get SchoolCal ready for the new year:

Load your SIS Data to ensure you have the most up-to-date data in SchoolCal
Review all flows and flow settings (filters for each school level, course types, dates)
Review who you want to sync data for (students, staff, faculty, resources, etc.)
Review the template settings (event title, notes, etc.)
Turn on automatic syncing for class schedule pipelines - The automatic sync has been turned off for the summer to avoid publishing schedules prematurely, so this needs to be turned back on when you're ready to publish schedules.
