If a person received multiple emails from SchoolCal, they have likely set their calendar settings to only allow email invitations for calendar events. To correct this go to Google Calendar > Settings (gear icon upper right) > Event Settings and set "Add Invitations to My Calendar" to either "From Everyone" or "Only if sender is know" and add the SchoolCal user into their address book.
You may batch delete the email invitations, exclude the teacher (either remove from pilot or use the exclude on the filters tab) and run a light sync, have the teacher adjust their settings and then run another light sync to add the events to their calendar.
